Volodymyr Zelensky says he's 'ready to sign' minerals deal with the US and insists he 'just wanted Ukrainian position to be heard' during disastrous Oval Office meeting with Trump

Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he is 'ready to sign' the minerals deal with America that was put on hold after his stormy meeting with Donald Trump.

Volodymyr Zelensky has stated he is ready to sign a minerals deal with the US, despite a disastrous Oval Office meeting with Donald Trump. During the meeting, Trump pressured Zelensky to accept a deal without security guarantees, while Zelensky insisted his position be heard. The deal, worth up to $1 trillion, involves US access to Ukraine's rare earth minerals in exchange for military support. European leaders subsequently convened to discuss supporting Ukraine, with plans to increase defense spending and bolster Ukraine's military capabilities. Zelensky has reaffirmed his commitment to remaining in office despite calls for his resignation.
